Kids’ Artwork: Last Half of 2019

Here are some of Brooklyn’s and Savannah’s drawings from the last half of 2019:

Brooklyn:

Noah’s ark

Unicorns and rainbows are still some of her favorite things to draw…

Brooklyn got the idea for this frog from an Usborne arts and crafts book. I thought it turned out so cute!

More unicorns and rainbows :)

Brooklyn made this at school for Grandparents Day…

The Perfect Grandparent: 10 cups of love, a dash of kisses, 3 teaspoons of fun, sprinkle with hugs

Brooklyn drew this picture of herself…

Brooklyn shooting a basketball

Kion at the Tree of Life

Lions are another thing that Brooklyn loves to draw!

“I love you, Savannah”

Loved this drawing of Rudolph!

Brooklyn riding a scooter :)

I loved this bald eagle and American flag!

I liked how she split the paper in half and drew sunny weather on one side and stormy weather on the other side.

Halloween picture

“Brooklyn’s favorite things” in 1st grade

Someone dreaming about unicorns…

Moana drawing – this is Maui’s fish hook and Pua the pig :)

“Julls” = Jewels :)

“Weather…lots of lightning, maybe rain”

She really likes making things out of wrapping paper scraps and bows…

I’m not sure where Brooklyn heard the phrase “love is strong” or if she made it up, but she started writing it on lots of her artwork ;)

Brooklyn wrote Travis and me the sweetest note ever!

“Dear Mommy and Daddy, I love you so much. You work hard. I know how hard it is to make money, Daddy. Mommy, I know it’s hard to make a perfect meal for my family. I love you, Mommy and Daddy. I love how you make your meals. I love them. Daddy, I love you. You make us rich. And that’s how I got money. Both of your jobs are so cool. Love, Brooklyn

She drew lots of pictures for Paw and Rae Rae while we were at their house for Christmas…

“10 times drawer” – maybe that means “A+ artist”?

Roll Tie…haha!

Be kind (please)

“Simba’s dad”

She picked some random people from the Argo Park directory (where Rae Rae and Paw are members) and mailed them special cards. I’m not even sure she knew who they were, but she just loves making cards for people so much!

A bell and holly

Brooklyn and Gabby

“Brooklyn picking flowers to make a bouquet”

I love all the colorful rainbows!

I loved this note that Brooklyn wrote to herself: “Dear Me, Don’t forget that you have to be kind every day. I wish good luck for you. Try to show respect at Christmas. On the next day, help. Then, take a break for a little while. Then, be nice and love. Merry Christmas.” :)

Here is a “Fantastic Facts” sheet that Brooklyn wrote: 1. Cars have an engine that lets them go. 2. The road is made from cement. 3. I believe apple trees take at least 10 years to grow. 3. Wild “stoo” is made from leaves, a few apple slices that are small, then chop up the leaves, then put everything in a pot and stir. 4. Goldfish are made from cheese and yellow crackers, then shape it into shape. 5. Cheetahs run 70 miles per hour. 6. I know that electrical fuses shock you.

Savannah:

Savannah drew family pictures like this for the longest time, but I love how she drew herself with blue eyes. She’s the only one of us with blue eyes in the family!

Savannah couldn’t remember what this was supposed to be ;)

That’s it! I’m sure there were PLENTY of other drawings that I didn’t save. They churn it out so fast that it’s hard to keep up with!
