Teething

Teething. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

Unfortunately, here we are anyway…in the middle of tooth #1 coming in. This has been a long, tiring week. Is it only Thursday?? Brooklyn hasn’t been crying 24/7, but she hasn’t been her normal mostly-happy self either. She’s also been waking up at night a lot lately…eek. Brings back memories from a few months ago :) Shouldn’t parents get a prize from the tooth fairy when their kid gets a new tooth in? I feel like we all will have accomplished something when this tooth finally pops all the way through!

In between the unhappy times, we’ve managed to have a little peace and some fun mixed in too…

And, for some non-Brooklyn pictures, here’s the latest picture of our dining room. I bought a few things at Hobby Lobby on Tuesday, and we got them hung that night. I think they help tie in the chairs to the rest of the room.

Only thing left to do is get a new chandelier, and the room will be complete! :)

And, if you’re in the mood for shrimp, allow me to introduce you to the best recipe: Marinated Grilled Shrimp. The ingredients don’t sound like anything special, but put them altogether and wow! Travis said it was some of the best shrimp he’s ever had. You have to try it!!

Well, now that my mouth is watering, I guess I’ll quit. Time for a snack while the teething baby is still napping :)
