On May 7th, we met up with Blake Tolliver (who took our last set of family pictures in October 2020) for another mini photo session. This time he drove out to Madison and met us at the greenway near our house. The location couldn’t have been more convenient…at least for us! It was an usually cool day (only in the low 60s) and it was misting and very windy. I wasn’t sure how our pictures would turn out, but we decided to just go for it since we had already made the plans, and I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to find another time to reschedule. As usual, Blake did a great job, especially considering the weather. I’m not sure I love these photos quite as much as I did from our fall session, but we did get some really good ones. Here are my favorites:
I was really happy with how our outfits came together! I coordinated everything around Savannah’s dress, which is one of her favorites.
This is my favorite family photo from the day! :)
We had to try this walking shot several times because the girls were speed walking and being silly…haha
I loved these individual pictures of the girls…
When did Brooklyn get so big???
Our sweet Savannah!
Abigail was looking so cute in her denim dress :)
Blake had the girls each pick a dandelion…
“On the count of three, BLOW!”
I love how this picture captured Abigail’s cute little face as she blew her dandelion seeds :) It’s the perfect representation of childhood!
Savannah was in rare form during our session and was being so animated with her expressions…
Love him!
The girls wanted to stand on this giant log for a picture…haha
I didn’t remember this lending library near the start of the greenway, but we stopped to check it out on our way back to the parking lot.
That’s it! We were really happy with how these pictures turned out, especially with how dreary the weather was that evening!
