Just wanted to share some of my favorites from Savannah’s 1 year session with Carla. The pictures were taken on May 14th (about 2 weeks after her birthday) in Mooresville, about 25 minutes from our house. Other than attending a wedding there, it was our first time to visit Mooresville. It was such a neat little town with so much character and history! The weather was nice that morning, and Savannah did well for the pictures, despite only getting a 20 minute cat nap on the way there. I loved how all of the pictures turned out, especially those from the cake smash.

We also took a few pictures of Savannah wearing a dress and bonnet that (I think) Baugay made for Alisha when she was little. I love that dress!

I decided to put Savannah in the same outfit she wore at her birthday party (since those pictures turned out so terribly). This time around, as you can see, things went much better!
I think she liked it…

After Savannah had eaten on it for a while, we let Brooklyn have a few bites (it was her reward for being good during pictures!), and then we called it a day. I’m sad that our sessions with Carla are over for now. We will have to book a mini session with her next year when the girls are bigger. She always does a great job capturing our family photos!!
