Mid-May Photo Dump

The past week was just an ordinary one spent around the house. We stayed home this weekend (for the first time in 4 weeks!), and we didn’t really do a whole lot. It was pretty nice!

Brooklyn had a pretty fussy week, but she had her moments of smiles (and her first giggles too…check out the video below!). She is still sleeping great in her crib. Last night, she slept from 11:15 PM to 5 AM and, after nursing, she went back in her crib from 5:20 AM to 8:20 AM! Go B! :)

This is my view A LOT during the week. I’ve spent countless hours sitting on the couch holding this sweet girl while she naps. I’m trying to soak up these moments because I know one day she’ll be too big to nap in my arms…

Brooklyn thinks she’s such a big girl! This was one morning when she slept in our bed for a few hours.

Brooklyn has started sitting in her bouncer again after weeks of not liking it very much. This was Thursday night before we had Baugay, Tyler, and Alisha over for supper.

Saturday, B modeled this cute onesie from David and Lauren. Too bad we didn’t get that deduction this year! We’ll have to wait til next year I guess :)

Travis spent a lot of time entertaining Brooklyn this weekend. She loves to play with him! Speaking of playing…here is that video of Brooklyn giggling. This was Friday afternoon, and I just happened to be taking a video when she did it. So cute! :)

 

 

Felix and Gabby were busy as usual this week. They did many important things…like sleep, eat, chase each other around, and meow. They are loving their freshly carpeted cat house! Those crazy kitties had shredded a lot of the old carpet on it. Lucky for them, Dad put new carpet on it a few weeks ago when he was here, and it looks much better now.

Felix and Gabby are snuggle buddies! Usually they don’t try to fit in their bed at the same time though!! :)

Brooklyn was all dressed up for church yesterday. This was last night before we left home  :)

Last night, Travis and Brooklyn hung out on the couch together. She slept while he watched a movie, and then they played games after she woke up.

This was Brooklyn’s face right after she woke up from her nap. Travis put her down on the couch for a minute while she was still asleep, but it didn’t take her long to realize he wasn’t holding her anymore! Her “spooked” look is so funny. It always takes her a few minutes to wake up good…she definitely gets that from her daddy! :)

That’s about all for this update. We’re looking forward to a short work week, Gary and Aimee’s wedding, and a fun time at the lake for Memorial Day. Can’t wait!! :)
