This summer is going by really fast! I feel like Travis just graduated yesterday, and now we’ve already been away from Tuscaloosa for almost 2 months! It’s just crazy…
We had a fun 4th of July weekend. Saturday, we went to Jeremy’s house in Woodville to hang out with our “college” friends for the day. It was great to see everybody that we haven’t seen in a while! We spent the day fishing, shooting shotguns (well, not me), playing baseball and flag football, and just talking. We missed my family at the lake this weekend though! We still haven’t been to the lake this summer yet, but hopefully we can make it down there soon.
Friday night, we’re having friends over for an ice cream social. We’re going to make homemade vanilla ice cream, and everybody is bringing toppings to go on it! I’m excited! We’ve finally got the last of our pictures hung in our apartment, so this is kind of a celebration of us being finished moving in I guess. Then, Saturday, one of Travis’s friends from high school is getting married, so we’re going to his wedding that afternoon. We’re missing the Dvorak family reunion, but hopefully we won’t be in too much trouble and they’ll let us come for the one next year…haha :)
Well, it’s getting close to 9:30…our “old married couple” bedtime, so I better wrap this up! Hope everyone is having a wonderful week :)
