I’m over 2 weeks behind, so I’m trying to play catch up on the blog!
We spent Father’s Day weekend in Trussville with my family. I had to work that Friday, so we waited to eat an early supper and then head down to my parent’s house that night. Brooklyn is such a great car rider! We are so lucky in that department. She hardly ever cries in the car, usually takes a nap if it’s a long ride, and will just talk to herself the rest of the time. Thank you, Miss B!
On Saturday, Mom and I took Brooklyn to get her flower girl dress altered for the wedding in a couple of weeks. It fit pretty well as is, but it was just a teeny bit too long. The lady said she could take it up in the shoulders and that would bring the bottom of the dress up a little. I think she’s going to look so cute! Whether she’ll actually walk down the aisle is another matter, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed :)
Saturday night, we went with my parents to a Mexican fiesta-themed shower for Jenn and Chandler. It was fun! The food was from Superior Grill, and it was really good too.
Don’t they look cute in those hats?? :)
Brooklyn thought Jenn’s hat was so interesting!
Dad with his girls on Father’s Day weekend
On Sunday, we went to church and out to eat for lunch afterward. I snapped a few Father’s Day pictures that morning :)
Two awesome dads
I didn’t make Travis a Father’s Day video this year like I did last year, but Brooklyn and I still think he is one of the best daddies around! Thank you, Travis, for everything you do! :)
