Well, it’s back to real life after a fun week at Navarre. Here’s what we’ve been up to since we got back home:
Last week on Thursday, we went to KidVenture (the indoor playground in Madison) before Brooklyn’s 18 month checkup. This was our second time going, and we stayed about an hour. Brooklyn spent pretty much the entire time in the ball pit. She is OBSESSED! :)
After Brooklyn’s checkup (and 2 shots!), we ate with Daddy at Firehouse Subs. It was fun to eat lunch with him during the week!
Brooklyn loves to play on our bed! She thinks it’s so much fun to “hide” in the pillows…
PEEKABOO! There she is!
On Sunday, we tried to get Brooklyn to give Baby Loveless some love. Here, she is giving him a kiss :)
This is Brooklyn “patting” the baby. More like giving him CPR…whoops!
“This is how you pat the baby nicely…” Hopefully, she’ll do better next time!
Brooklyn has been trying to say “Cici” this week, but it doesn’t exactly come out right. It’s a hard name to say though! Here were her first attempts on Saturday night:
Yesterday morning, we had a fun playdate with Caitlyn and Nathan at Bridge Street. This was our second time to try this out, and Brooklyn did much better this time at staying near the water. She only ran off a couple of times :)
Most of the time, we were the only ones there! It was great!
I just love seeing Nathan walking. He’s so cute!
They played well together!
I think she is shouting “ball”! One of her new favorite words :)
When it was time for a snack, Nathan was so sweet to share his raisins and cranberries with Brooklyn. He even fed them to her! She also shared her Goldfish with him. Everyone was happy!
Thanks for joining us, Caitlyn and Nathan! We’ll have to do it again sometime soon :)
She was still in a good mood while eating lunch after all that fun!
And I’ll leave you with a funny dancing video. After supper, we usually turn up the music while we clean up the kitchen. It usually turns into a dance party. Brooklyn loves to dance!
That’s all for this update! Hope you’re having a great week!

I guess it was Travis’ slick dance moves that stole your heart and made you want to marry him! :) What a great daddy! These are fun times you’ll remember forever! Cherish every minute!
I’m not sure he pulled out those moves before we tied the knot…haha. They keep me entertained at least! :)
