Little Miss Photogenic

I love pictures. I love taking pictures and looking at pictures. We bought a new DSLR camera at the end of last year in hopes of getting some really great pictures of Brooklyn after she was born. We’ve definitely loved having the camera so far. Of course, only one of us has read the manual on how to use it (and it wasn’t me!), so I’m not the best with using all of its features yet. We’ve still gotten some great pictures of Brooklyn though, even with me using the camera on “auto”! I was somewhat optimistic that we could take some “professional” looking pictures of her, but we soon realized that neither of us have the training or creativity to do that. Enter Carla McLemore Photography. We decided right before Brooklyn was born to sign up for a “First Year Collection” with Carla. That equals 4 photo sessions (newborn, 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year old). Brooklyn had her newborn session last week, and I am just in love with all of the pictures. Carla did such a great job and was so sweet. I’m already looking forward to Brooklyn’s other three sessions!!

I guess this is just the beginning of Brooklyn’s modeling career. Between Carla and us, I think Brooklyn has been photographed hundreds of times just in 2 weeks of life. It’s just too hard to resist taking pictures of that sweet face! :)
